After I graduated high school, I was incredibly excited. Due to my academic successes, I had obtained a scholarship to attend one of the nation’s premier universities. I had already chosen the field I wanted to go into, veterinary medicine, and I was excited about college and about my studies. With big dreams and high hopes I left for university.
